Numbers on MacBook autosaves changes?

I have a 2019 27" 5K i9 iMac and a 2020 M1 MacBook Air. When I open a file and update it on my iMac when I close it prompts me to save the changes. On the MacBook Air the file just closes and accepts and saves any changes. I can't find where the setting is to control this.

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

It is a global setting, not just for Numbers. It is in System Preferences / General near the bottom. Thanks for reminding me about this. I reinstalled the OS on my computer lat week and this was one setting I had forgotten to select.
