Quicktime controls won't disappear
The Quicktime controls will not disappear while the video is playing. How can this problem be solved?

The controls should disappear when the mouse cursor is away from the controls and not moving.
It does work as intended for me on 11.4, by fading out in ~4 sec.
Do you have a mouse, or maybe a notebook with just a trackpad?
If you have a mouse, try changing the surface that it is on.
