kids forgot passcode on iPad?
Is there any way to retrieve a passcode on a child's iPad? Would like to retrieve the passcode w/o removing all data. Kids don't have an Apple ID (no email account). Thx

The kids need their own Apple IDs, and no; there’s no means to retrieve the passcode.
The passcode that’s been forgotten is the data encryption and data decryption key for the contents of the iPad; for the data.
You’ll need to reset this iPad.
If there are backups to iCloud, or to a local Mac or Windows system, the iPad data can be restored.
I’m inferring that there might be no backups here too, which is another concern if the data has value.
