When I install an app nothing happens
When I hit install on my apple watch it flicks straight to the top of the app list and doesn’t install. Any ideas what the problem is?

OK. Try restarting both devices first, if that helps. Then you could also update to watchOS 7.5, just to be current on that side too.
If the problem still remains, then unpairing and re-pairing the watch would be the next remedy. That will take your watch back to factory settings, while keeping your apps and data intact.
