recover deleted message i thought were backed up
When I look in my settings it said that my messages were back up to the ICLOUD but I can not retrieve any of the ones I deleted. How am I able to view my old messages

Two things:
- By messages are you referring to text/iMessage or email messages?
- Please take a look at the following Apple Support article, specifically the section, titled: iCloud backups to see what gets backed up.
