Hi,
My phone would frequently back up to the iCloud. But now it’s not doing it at all, even if I hit the back up manually button in settings. It hasn’t been backed up since the start of the year and I don’t want to lose my valuable photos. Btw my phone is charging and connected to WiFi

It doesn’t appear you’re connected to Wi-Fi. You need Wi-Fi to backup. If you are, Restart your iPhone - Apple Support, then How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.
