Exercise ring is not calculating correctly

How do I get my exercise ring to calculate my activity? It isn’t working. I set my watch to outdoor walk, go 70min and it calculates FIVE. HELP

I have tracked two outdoor walks today on my apple watch - 52mins and 27mins - but my exercise ring only says 32 mins. Any idea why? It often seems to do this and I'm not sure why.
