IPhone XR says theres no SIM card

My iphone XR keeps saying there is no SIM card in the phone I have tried resetting the phone, taking the SIM card out and putting it back in, cleaning the SIM card with a dry cotton bud and updating the phone but nothing seams to work

I would test the sim in another phone to verify if the sim card was defect or if the sim card connector in the iphone was defect
