Relocated Items Folder on Desktop after latest Big Sur UPDATE? HELP?

How can I safely remove Relocated Items Folder from Desktop without causing damage to other files or apps, or the system? Why am I seeing this. I am new to MAC, 2 yrs. never seen before why now?

Don't worry, these files are harmless, and you can safely just drag the Relocated Items folder to the trash.
