iPad Air screen not working!

Hello! Whenever my iPad turns off or goes to the Lock Screen, it becomes a black screen entirely while still being on. When I turn it off and on, I can see the screen light up a bit but it’s still completely dark. It’s come to the point where I avoid my iPad turning off by leaving it on the charger plugged 24/7 so I don’t have to go through the trouble of turning it on to the actual screen and not just a dark screen. Now whenever it does die and I have to fix the dark screen, I always turn it on by pressing the power button and home button at the same time but usually it takes a few tries before the Lock Screen pops up. Please help with this issue! If I need to take it to an Apple store to fix it let me know, otherwise I’m not trying to spend loads of money to fix a simple issue that could be fixed here at home. My iPad model number is A2152.

That's a screen issue, send it in to the genius bar or send it in for service. To find Genius Bars in your area, use this link https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/

If there are no Genius Bars in your area, try sending it to Apple.

Search online to locate and call contact your nearest, “local” Apple Store location to try/attempt to make an appointment to get your Apple iPad Air screen issues diagnosed and options presented to you.

OR, failing that,

Contact Apple support via the contact support link located at the upper right hand corner of every Webpage of these Apple support communities.

Use the Device Performance and Connectivity support categories.

OR

by installing and using the Apple Support app found in the iOS App Store.

Tap the iOS App Store link below.

Try adjusting the brightness, on iOS 5 and up to iOS 10, swipe up from the bottom, you might see a slider, try sliding it up, on iOS 11 up to iPadOS 14, swipe from the battery meter, it should be a thick bar next to a sun, try sliding that up, if all does not work, go to an Apple Genius Bar in your area or send your iPad in for service
