So, I've quite literally just upgraded to Logic after using GarageBand for a little while. I want to use a plugin known as Fresh Air, by Slate Digital. It appears in the plugin manager, but not in the Audio Units part of the plugin selection thing. Does it have anything to do with the fact it says that the plugin isn't validated?

Yes you must validate it first. Try hitting “Reset and Rescan Selection” while Fresh Air selected.
