Is the LiDAR Scanner in the iPhone 12 Pro is eye safe?

It's not mention what wavelength it uses and the power.

I'm thinking of buying the iPhone 12 Pro but little hesitant because of this. I'm little concern about the safety of the LiDAR Scanner.

Is it safe to take a portrait of baby / toddler with this camera? It's laser radiation after all. It says in Apple website that it's class 1 laser, still it's laser.

Please advise.
