Hi CopperLin,
This should help: Move your data from a Windows PC to your Mac - Apple Support. It requires Windows 7 or later.
For best reliability, connect the PC and Mac directly together with an Ethernet cable.
Cheers,
Jack

I'm returning the computer. I need USB ports. I can do without a CD burner, but I have clients who bring my flash drives and I need to be able to read them. Without USB ports I would also need reliable wifi, and that's a joke. My last Apple was a 2E and I loved it. I had iMacs when I was teaching and really wanted to switch back, but this MacBook is impossible.

I can attach an ethernet cable to my PC, however, my MAC does not have a corresponding port, so that won't work. How about an alternative solution.
If it is an iMac, it will. Every single iMac current sold has an Ethernet connector. Is your Mac a MacBook?
(Also, it is "Mac" not "MAC".)
Cheers,
Jack
It's a Macbook pro.
