No more light tapping to click on trackpad of new MacBook pro?

I just got a 16" MacBook Pro to replace my aging Macbook Air. One thing I liked about the Air is that a light tap on the trackpad would make a "left click" (didn't have to actually click down on the pad). This doesn't seem to work on the new MacBook Pro. Is it a setting somewhere, or did they really do away with that feature?

It is still available. Make sure these features are enabled.

 > System Preferences > Trackpad > Point & Click

  1. Enable Secondary click and choose an option.
  2. Enable Tap to click
