I’m using iPhone 6plus and my iOS level is 12.5.1 and there’s no more updates coming. It’s making my phone to perform slowly and I don’t know why. I tried several time. I decided to download some apps but they’re requesting for iOS 13 going why?

Not who the "you" is that you think you're addressing here. The iPhone 6 is a 7 years old and does not have the processing power to run an iOS version higher than iOS12.5.2.
Because the phone you have is obsolete. It is not capable of running what you want to run.
