Multiple screens, multiple desktops - not playing nice since Mojave

I have used two extra screens for many years. Imac in middle, one screen left and one right. It has worked perfectly until I upgraded to Mojave. Now, when I swipe left or right to switch desktops, the iMac's screen slides over, but the other two stay still on desktop 1. It's a real pain. Does anyone know of a fix please?

Toggle "Displays have separate Spaces" from Mission Control tab in System Preferences.

Hope that helps.

Hmm. Well that fixed the issue I asked about, but it's created a new one. I can no longer choose desktop pics for the side screens, which I always could before! I could always right click the background, select "change desktop picture" and I would get one for EACH screen, now I only get one for the middle one.

Is this another new Apple 'improvement' I wish they hadn't done?! :D
