10.15.7. ALL FILES DISAPPEARED FROM DOCUMENTS FOLDER

MY DOCUMENTS NOW ONLY SHOW IN "RECENT" OR ON iCloud Drive ? HOW DID THEY MOVE FROM DOCUMENTS FOLDER,AND HOW DO I PUT THEM BACK ,,,,,, IT SAYS WHEN I TRY THAT I NEED TO TAKE THEM ALL DOWN FROM ICLOUD DRIVE ???

You enabled desktop and documents when you setup iCloud. Your documents were moved to your iCloud drive. Change the settings in iCloud if you don't want your desktop and documents in iCloud.
