I have not been able to install macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. Iwas able to complete the download step but wt the preparing step it froze and said try again after checking internet connection - it was fine. What do I do?

Check in Application Folder for either a Full 12.18 GB Application called Install Big Sur or a Partial of same name. If one it there Drag and Drop to Trash and empty Trash.
Shutdown computer. Shutdown Router. Connect computer to Router via Ethernet Cable. Restart Router. Restart computer and Immediately hold - Shift - This will be Safe Mode and will perform a Repair Disk, Clear Cache files and Only load Apple Software and Fonts. Depending on the amount of Data on the drive - it will load very slowly - Normal. The computer will look and preform differently - Normal.
Try downloading Big Sur 11.2.3 again.
