Why can't I get Google Chrome on my MacBook Pro 2020?

From what I can tell, Google Chrome is not available as an app for MBP 13", M1, 2020. Is that so? If that is so, why is it so?

Go to https://www.google.com/chrome/

Click "Download Chrome"

Click where the red arrow points in the screenshot below:

Why is Google Chrome unavailable for the iMac on the App Store I usually use Safari, but certain web sites work better with Chrome. I recently began using an iMac with Monterey 12.2. when I look through the App Store I see that Chrome is offered only for iPad and iPhone. Is there a problem? If I download Chrome from Google's play store will I have problems?
