Apple Watch SE is not counting steps
This new Apple Watch is not counting steps or I don’t see it

If you want to see steps taken on your Apple Watch, open the Activity app, scroll down to where. it says "Steps Counted".
Alternatively you can ask Siri to show how many steps you've taken and she'll take you directly there.
