Texting problems iPhone 11 Pro Max

Does anyone else have problems with texting on Iphone. Apple did replace my phone but I haven't even bothered to inform them that it didn't help. Prior to the phone being replaced, I wiped out everything on the phone and it didn't take long for it to start acting up again, even without all of my apps, etc back on. Can a SIM card have a problem? It is almost like being on a computer with no memory and not quick enough to handle anything. The phone is up to date. I have 126 gb of storage still available on the phone.
