The contents of iCloud backups of a device depends upon what you use iCloud for syncing. This is outlined in this article:

Everything that is not part of what you have selected for syncing is part of an iCloud backup. As already stated, you cannot see the individual items in that backup (some of which wouldn't make sense such as configuration files), just when one was last created.


To see your synced items you use the various apps you have selected for syncing.
