I have a 512 loaded 2016 MacBook Pro still using Catalina? Should I upgrade to the Current Big Sur?

I have a 512 loaded 2016 MacBook Pro with ample storage available. Should I pull the trigger on upgrading my Catalina to the Current Big Sur? I'm a Physician and only use this laptop mentioned for my personal time use never any professional software for my practice. And I'm an avid Mountain Biker and enjoy downloading my GoPro to the device as well. But I'm very happy with how well Catalina works if you recommend not upgrading to Big Sur?

COPY THAT! I appreciate your taking the time for your thoughts. I just didn't want to download a new operating system or upgrade in lieu of the current climate of our country under so much cyber attack or uncertainty.
