How can I upgrade my macbook air from El Capitan to Catalina?

From where could I install Catalina? I had a my hard drive broken on my macbook air and it was replaced but they only installed El Capitan and the apps or programs aren't working too well. I can´t yet upgrade to Big Sur (one program i use for work is not working on that yet). Thankful for any helping advice!
