1st Gen Ipad Model A1337 Dont recognise 2 Factor Authentication

There is an old Ipad in our home. There is no ID logged in it. So i have created a new iCloud ID and tried to log in. After giving ID password its asking to reenter password followed by the authentication code. I am doing as i am instructed. I reentered the password+the Authentication code i got in my cell phone. But now its saying wrong ID password. I am not sure but it seems like this 5.1.1 run Ipad Don't understand the 2 Factor Authentication. Is there any way to stop 2 Factor authentication, so that i can log in? Or there is any other way? Am i doing anything wrong?

Is there anyone who can help?
