brand new MacBook Pro and the fan is constantly on and really loud
Anyone else have this issue? Mac user for about 25 years and this is the first machine that has done this!

The fans are always on, they idle at about 2,000 RPM, you typically never hear them at this speed;
really loud means something have the fan speed ramped up to keep it cool, max RPM ~6,000

Keep your Mac notebook within acceptable operating temperatures
