Keyboard position on my Ipad

Recently the keyboard is appearing in the middle of the screen, unable so view what I’m typing. Want to move to bottom but can’t find out how, tried dragging or finding something in Settungs, no luck

Tap and hold the little keyboard icon at the bottom right corner, then slide your finger up to select “Dock”.
