Apple Watch battery
I’m lucky if my watch lasts 4 hours what can I do it’s frustrating. Unlike a phone to keep charging is inconvenient

To understand Apple Watch performance and its relation to your battery, see:
Apple Watch Battery and Performance - Apple Support
“Battery life” is the amount of time your device runs before it needs to be recharged. “Battery lifespan” is the amount of time your battery lasts until it needs to be replaced. Maximize both and you’ll get the most out of your Apple devices, no matter which ones you own. See the "Tips for Apple Watch" section in:

Your series 5 Watch should still be under the AppleCare warranty.
I suggest you search online to locate and call contact your nearest, “local” Apple Store location to try/attempt to make an appointment to get your Watch battery issues diagnosed.
OR, failing that,
Contact Apple support via the contact support link located at the upper right hand corner of every Webpage of these Apple support communities.
Use the Battery support categories.
OR
by installing and using the Apple Support app found in the iOS App Store.
Tap the iOS App Store link below.

Best of Luck to You!
Thanks for your reply. My watch has been draining quickly from the first time I used. I’ve tried a few things suggested but still only get 4 hours. I basically got rid of most of the notifications. It’s just a little better than my Fitbit Charge which lasts for days
It might be helpful to state how old the watch is? or the model?
It’s a Series 5 and bought Aug 31, 2020.
Have you tried hard resetting the watch by holding down both the Crown and side button until the screen goes dark and the Logo appears?
Have you tried un-paring/re-pairing your watch?
Having battery issues within 7 months is unacceptable. Aren't you covered under any kind of consumer warranty? If Apple leaves you hanging, I'm never buying a single apple product anymore.
You responded to the wrong reply poster.
Oh right. I'm sorry. Got a bit carried away. but I guess that doesn't matter?
Thanks. Going to Apple store soon.
