I got a new iPhone but with a new phone number and SIM card, how do I put my new number as my Apple ID so that all my devices sync again and not separate numbers?

How do I make sure my new phone number is linked to my Apple ID so my Mac and my phone aren’t different phone numbers?

iPhone 12, iOS 14

You need to change/add the number on your Apple ID. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime on all devices/computers.
