Trying to update payment

Listen my debit card expired. I got my new card and I have been trying all morning to update my payment method. It will not work I add new card then try to remove old card then it will say can’t remove card bc there is a subscription to the card. So I stopped my subscription and it still say that I can’t delete card and it still will not let me add a new card.
