Mac OS Boot Issue

Mac fails to boot properly. There is a dark grey screen after booting. Actually, this issue starts after installing auto clicker software which is used to perform repeated clicks. I am working on multiple projects which involve mouse clicks and I am not able to perform well with a touchpad. That is why installed the software.

Now the problem is a grey screen instead of the desktop view.

Not sure what to do. Please suggest a helpful solution to rectify this issue.

Looking forward to the best possible solution.

Thanks.

I suspect the new "auto clicker" software has a conflict, it may be causing your problem. On the web site you provided a link to, I see this:

System Supported Versions for Mac Auto Clicker

  • Lion (Mac Version 10.7)
  • Mountain Lion (Mac Version 10.8)
  • Mavericks (OS X 10.9)
  • Yosemite (OS X 10.10)

It says nothing about operating systems past 10.10. You are using 10.14.

Perhaps you should boot into Safe Mode, by holding down the Shift key when starting up. This may take a number of minutes, be patient. Once in Safe Mode, uninstall or remove this auto clicker software.
