Appstore not working/ just loading/ not downloading on Mojave 10.14.6
So after the fiasco with Safari not having the open file problems anymore I now have a new problem:
The Appstore simply does not load, download or update files.
What I tried so far:
- Make a new user (admin) and try it with another Apple ID = same result
- Reinstall Mojave (10.14.1 - 5 works fine, however on 10.14.6 the problem is there again)
- Deleted Caches
- Disabled all the apps that are running in the background
- Log out and log in again in the App Store.
My temporary workaround now is downloading the apps on an older Mac... however, that should not be the solution for this.
PS: I am still using Mojave for running specific 32-bit apps. If I really could live without them I would have already updated to a higher version.
== Update ==
The only thing that works for me is this:
- Open Activity Monitor
- Open the Appstore
- Force Quit the "appstoreagent"
- Command + R in the screen of the App Store and try again!
