MacBook Pro not charging

My MacBook Pro won't charge when I plug in the charger into my Mac. It only begins charging when I unplug and plug the charger from the wall socket, which is always plugged in. Why is this happening?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Hi,

If your MacBook Pro has Intel CPU, resetting SMC could solve the issue.

If it doesn't help, try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports battery or charger errors.
