Free 1 year Apple TV subscription not activating

I just set up a new Apple TV, but I am unable to get the one year free subscription to Apple TV that it says I should receive.

Why is it my one year free subscription for Apple TV is not activating? I currently have a subscription to Apple TV which expires in July. Well, I read the fine print at the bottom. I’ve already been given 1 year free with another device purchase, & for that reason I can’t get another. Too bad!
