What is wrong with the iPhone 12 pro max camera? Like seriously? Why are we not talking about this. I compared the video quality to my old iPhone 10s and it’s significantly worse. I was horrified to say the least. Do I have a faulty phone? Honestly I don’t know what to do here.

I don’t think you read the entire thing, I’m asking the community for advice since I feel stuck with an $1100 device that takes awful quality videos. I can’t return the phone because it’s been over 14 days.
If you think there is an issue with your phones camera, schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and show it to them. That's what the one year warranty is for.
For me, both our iPhone 12 and 12 Pro Max take fantastic videos and photos.
