Speaker on my mac book air suddenly became very quiet at full volume

My speaker on my MacBook Air has suddenly become very quiet at maximum volume. How do I fix this?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

max volume on macbook air very low The volume on my macbook air is very low when its up max. Settings have been checked and they are at the correct setting i.e output speaker is up full. Can anyone advise on how this can be fixed or what the problem is?

Hi,

Resetting NVRAM could solve the sound related issues.

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
