Trying to upgrade MacBook Pro 2018 15" with 4 thunderbolt ports to macOS Big Sur but it keeps failing to upgrade. I have 416.32 GB available of 499.83 GB. Any ideas?

If your download speed is suspect try a faster Network.
You can try from a Safeboot mode the download. SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262
