My 2008 Macbook can longer print wirelessly after Epson XP-830 printer upgrade. What can I do to fix this? Message also indicated Apple controls printer driver download for this product. Is Apple attempting to further "obsolete" this system?

How do I fix wireless printing on my 2008 Macbook after an Epson XP-830 upgrade?

While I've avoided later update/upgrade suggestions for my Epson printer

and AIO driver software, they do go away without harm to older systems..

They've been no problem here; learned awhile ago ~ since they offered

nothing good for vintage systems. You may have to see how AirPrint does

since your printer can use that; much like mine could, to iPhone print, etc.

However some functions and features will not work fully if you rely on this.

Because I've not let the newer driver kit install unsupported software, my

Epson printers have options; to include original wi-fi printing as equipped.

[There should be a way to access printer control section and change those

out, to replace or aim the macOS to different Epson driver software. I did it.]

Between four older Macs here, and two Epson printers, (one can do wi-fi

through an AirPort Express base station) I've no big problems either way.

There was means to remove newer print drivers, when they're problematic.

At this time, I can't recollect how I did that; just now, figure using avoidance.

Good luck & happy computing!
