How do I fix incorrect password when updating apps?

How do I fix incorrect password when updating apps. I have reset password. Signed in and out of iTunes reset app. Tried again. No change. I signed complete out of iPhone reset iPhone and sign back in. Tried to update same app incorrect password error displayed again. The  Id is the same as when app was first installed. Previous passwords do not work. I can sign in on other devices and browser with new password. Am I to the point of restoring phone?

Try signing out of the App Store/iTunes, restart, and then sign back in. Check the updates to see if the apps requiring an update are in your Purchases History. If they aren't in your Purchases History, you can delete the app, and download it using your Apple ID if desired. If the apps are in your Purchases History, contact iTunes Support.
