Scan an iPhone XR for malware

My friend fell for a scam and was talked through installing several apps on her iPhone, allowing the scammers to purchase gift cards, etc. Luckily her bank recognized the unusually pattern and prevented those purchases from going through. She deleted the apps, but they still show in her iCloud for re-download, which is concerning. She also wants to be sure that more malware was installed or settings changed to allow them to get back into her phone later.

What would be the best way for her to have her phone scanned for malware and keep it safe?

Thank you for any advice.

There's no malware that can run on iPhone.

All apps you deleted can be re-downloaded are just for your convenient.

You can hide them if you want (you cannot delete them from iCloud), see here => Hide purchases from the App Store - Apple Support

Also make sure

Note: Make sure you have at least 2 trusted phone number (landline can also be used)
