How can I close all windows instead of swiping individually on iPad Pro. iOS 14

There isn’t a mechanism to simultaneously force-close all Apps. If necessary, inactive Apps are individually force-closed from the App Switcher.


You might consider that inactive Apps consume almost no system resources - but will efficiently resume from the inactive (saved) state when reopened. Relaunching an App from scratch is slower - and requires the App to be reloaded and reinitialised, consuming considerably more more power than resuming from a saved-state.
