MacOS 11.2 update kills printing text from MS Office 365 for Mac.

Since updating to MacOS 11.2, MS Office 365 apps don't print text. Graphics in docs print fine, just no text. Printer is Canon MG7500 with latest driver. Printing worked fine with MacOS 11.1.

Boot into Safe Mode by booting with the Shift key held down and check there to see if the problem persists.  Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

The MG7500 is a series name and member printers in this family range from the MG7510 thru the MG7580. All are supported by Apple's built-in AirPrint on Big Sur, and none have Big Sur driver support from Canon.

Ensure that your Canon device is network-connected (wired/wireless) and powered.

In the System Preferences > Printers & Scanners panel, right-click on the MG7500 series device, and select Reset printing system… This will allow you to re-add the device, reselecting AirPrint as the driver.
