iPod and iTunes

My computer (PC with Windows 10) recognizes my iPod Classic, but iTunes does not. The icon for the iPod doesn't appear on the iTunes page. Right now, iTunes will only play one song at a time from the library on the computer, and nothing from the iPod. The device shows up in "Printers and Devices," but is not recognized as an iPod. I have rebooted everything at least once, to no avail.
