Apple Mail Folders Issue

Currently my email accounts are synced between my MacBook and my iPhone. If I delete an email on one, it deletes on the other.

My issues is I have subfolders set up I organize read emails into and I can't find a way to see these across the iPhone. Is this possible?

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Easiest place to create new folders is in the Mail app in the Mac

These folders will replicate to the iphone

You will need to move all the current messages from the old folders into the new, again easier in the Mac it that’s where they are

Setting up sub folders under Inbox is bad practice as they are not syncd by IMAP (as you discovered)

With respect you need to change your work practice and set up other folders away from the standard Inbox, Sent, junk etc boxes
