Mail capitalisation

In Mail on Big Sur, is there a way of stopping automatic capitalisation at the start of each new line?

Howdy,

To stop Mail (and some other apps) from capitalizing sentences,

Uncheck [ ] Capitalize words automatically in System Preferences > Keyboard > Text
