Phone reset

I plugged my iPhone 11 into my Mac computer to charge it. Thinking I was doing an update, I blindly reset my phone all the way back to 2016. Is there any way to recover? Especially my photos?? My photos did not transfer to my computer, as far as I can tell and the cloud thingy was full so nothing backed up. I am technically challenged so I have no idea where to start. Thank you!!

IF you don't have a recent backup, then there is nothing to restore back to.
