Cannot download Mojave 10.14 from App Store

Hi, I am trying to upgrade from High Sierra 10.13.6 to Mojave 10.14. When I follow the link to the Mojave update in the App store I get the following error message

This copy of the Install macOS Mojave application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install macOS.

Can anyone help please? Thank you :)

Try again while in Safe Mode.

Choose Applications from the Finder's Go menu, throw it away, and download another copy.

Hi, thank you for your help. This hasn't worked, I've repeated the steps several times and I still get the same error message when I try to install the OS. What else should I try please? Thank you.
