Dear Apple, why are you so stingy on ports? Especially usb-c ports? And, why do you put the meager few ports you provide on the most inaccessible part of a computer? When will functionality step out from behind the shadow of sleek stylish design?

I second the above comment. The solution is very simple, Just purchase an external USB bridge. They are easily acquired and inexpensive. They come in various sizes. I would recommend only getting one that is externally powered, however. Problems are solved with solutions, not by ranting.

Per the term of service you signed up for, you would've known that this is a user to user technical forum and there is no Apple here. Nobody here would know why Apple does what they do.
