Why can’t I remove and add people from a group message?

I created this group for work management. However we are unable to remove and add new people once it has been created. We also are unable to name the group.

If there are both android and apple users in the group chat those options are not available, something about carriers idk. Doesn't make sense to me. I cannot name a group for a group text or… - Apple Community
