Hi, I have received two separate text messages with ID verification numbers that I did not request?

Then it may be possible that these are SPAM messages. Were both messages the same? Did they provide any clues on where they originated from or from who? Were they actual text messages, via the Messages app, or alerts that you typically would get for your Apple ID?
